This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Ytmp4. We keep it short and plain, because we collect very little.
Who we are
Ytmp4 is a free online tool that saves YouTube videos as MP4 or MP3 files. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Ytmp4. You can reach us at contact@ytmp4.mom.
>What happens to the link you paste
When you paste a link and tap Start, the link is sent to our server and then to a third-party video service. They use it only to read the available qualities and their download links.
- We do not store the links you paste.
- We do not store any video or audio files.
- We keep no download history, and you need no account to use Ytmp4.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics, a service from Google, to count visits and see which pages are used. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser (such as _ga), and Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.
You can block cookies in your browser settings or install Google's opt-out browser add-on. We still show no ads, you do not need an account, and we do not keep the links you paste or the files you download.
>Hosting and delivery
Like every website, Ytmp4 runs on hosting and network providers. When you open the site, these providers may process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit. They use it to deliver the pages and to keep the service safe and working.
>Thumbnails and files
When a video is found, its preview image loads directly from YouTube's image servers, so YouTube may see that your browser asked for it. The file you choose comes from the video servers straight to your device; it does not pass through our own server.
>Emails you send us
If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to answer you. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or share your message.
>Children
Ytmp4 is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Since there are no accounts, we hold no profiles of anyone, young or old.
>Your rights
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to delete it, or ask any question about this policy. In most cases the honest answer is that we hold nothing apart from the emails you have sent us.
>Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using Ytmp4 after a change, you accept the updated policy.
